Best paper
Great product, I like better than gravel paper, but alas my 15 year old parakeet passed away this week. I had 15 birdbaths and I had finally found the perfect one. I am very sad. She passed in my sounds hands on last Thursday. Fly free at the Rainbow Bridge.

    I really like this paper for the birdcage because they can't eat it. Anything else I put in there they tore up an ate. They can't get through this and it's much more antimicrobial then what I was using. I will buy this as long as my birds are alive.

    Use for Small Animal Cages… great!

    I use this product for the cage of my hedgehog, not for a bird's cage. For some reason, I'm not sure why, this DRASTICALLY reduces the smell of his cage, and he often can smell pretty poopy 🙂 (yes I do clean his cage often) Further, if you place this underneath a small animal's bedding then it is much easier to discard the bedding, as you can just pick it up by the paper. Wonderful product.

    Its nice and heavy, even after a little water spillage it doesn't fall apart, easy to cut to size, absorbent. Just one complaint, how to uncurl it so it lays flat. I started gently rolling it in the opposite direction before I lay it down and that seems to solve the problem. Will purchase again. Very convenient and easy to use. One roll has lasted me 8 months so far and I have one or two applications left in the box. I probably don't change the cage as often as I should, I only have one parakeet right now. It has never smelled so this paper is worth the money to me.

    Cheaper paper than before, won't lie flat

    I've used these paper liners for my bird cage for years, but the cheaper paper they're now supplying won't lie flat even if you reverse roll it repeatedly. It's always been a bit like curling ribbon, but you used to be able to straighten it by rolling it the opposite way. Not now. It made cutting my papers to size nearly impossible…I had to actually fold them to get them to stay in any kind of position to work with. I finally rubber banded them rolled in reverse and just hope they'll be usable when I next clean my birds' cage.

    Picture shows some sort of quilting but this is just paper with printed side showing upwards. Not the easiest to use as it keeps rolling back up. The only good thing I can say for this is that it has 1 inch lines for easy cutting & sizing.
